Selecting the Right Cyclo Sorbent to Do the Job! Cyclo provides three types of Sorbents: Basic, Oil Only and Universal. Basic – (Black Label) Use Cyclo Basic sorbents to soak up any non-aggressive liquids including water, oil, ink, dyes, etc. Oil Only – (Blue Label) Use Cyclo Oil Only sorbents to soak up any Hydrocarbon (oil, gas, diesel, lubricants, kerosene, etc.) – they will not soak up water and they float. Not effective on chemicals or any water based fluids or agents. Universal – (Red Label) Universal sorbents will soak up anything, including hazardous liquids. They do not float and they will absorb water. Use for acids, caustics, solvents and more.
